. MEET HAYA SANSIL .

My name is Haya Sansil, Honours Bachelor of Interior Design graduate at Sheridan Institute of Technology & Advanced Learning. My passion for interior design continues to grow as I dive into the history and theory of architecture and design. During my time at Sheridan College, my colleagues and I worked on creating an academic club for Interior Design students, the Interior Design Collective. The club's main goal is to connect students with industry professionals in conversations to help us grow as inclusive & impactful designers. As vice president, I got to develop my leadership skills and make priceless connections.

Alongside my HBID degree, I also obtained an undergraduate certificate in Creativity & Creative Problem Solving. These credentials work hand in hand in allowing me to creatively approach a problem. I enjoy the challenge of integrating the space I am working with, the client's needs, and the budget I am given, among other factors.

Every environment has unique details that deserve to be celebrated. I thoroughly enjoy developing interiors that are functional and allow users to be comfortable in their own space. Concept development, space planning, technical details and execution are elements of a project that I am always willing to dive into with an open and creative mind. Over the last four years, I have expanded my knowledge of universal and sustainable design practices and I am looking forward to implementing them in my future designs.
